Random musings

Well, applications for the writing competition closed yesterday, and for some reason i'm slightly nervous as I know mine will not win because there were so many other talented applicants, getting a chance to read through them was a changing experience, they were so good and so talented. Myself, I have never really written a short story before other than when I was at school for an assignment. Well winners will be picked in the next few weeks, so even though i'm not convinced i'm still gonna secretly cross my fingers, I mean you never know right   :)

had a very uneventful day actually, nothing major happened, went to watch my sister play netball, although not sure of the final score i do know that they lost by a lot. the bus ride home tho was long, but got home eventually. spent my evening talking to a good friend while messing about with some designs, not sure i was getting out what i wanted to though but i got some to upload so you can be the judge of them.

we had a pretty cool sunset here tonight,  i love taking pictures of sunsets, it captures the raw beauty of life i guess.

as i said previously i worked on a few designs tonight and have added them online to the website.which also required me to format a secod page, which there is a link to at the bottom of the first one :)

not much else to update on here at the moment, so i might go and do some writing, its 11pm here and no way am i yet even tired to think about sleeping. hope you all are good and enjoying your days or nights depending on where you are :)

News and a few updates

Well its a cold night here in christchurch, nz. its 2°c or 36°f for those of you who use that way. either way its cold here lol. so sitting at my desk updating this website and trying to keep warm is the way i am spending what little time is left of my friday night before we hit into saturday. i hope eveyone is enjoying their day nights for whichever part of the world you are in :)

a few weeks ago i entered a competition through steffie dawns facebook in addition with her 4th book "Obeying My Master" due out anyday now. well i ended up being picked a winner and was one of the lucky ones to win a free     before it is released to everyone else, and to say i have read it and yet again she amazes, and i am maybe not so patientally, waiting, quietly cheering for book 5 :P

 thought i might share some new with you, i recently entered a creative writing competition for short stories, i only entered the minimum category because it was the first time i had actually written anything near decent enough to call a dtory, entries close in a few days so it is really just going to be a waiting game now. not to be negative but i dont believe i will win it, like i said being my first story, but like they say you got to be in it to win it, and this is a good opportunity for me and who knows 1 i might win, and plan b if i dont it might give me the courage to write something new, better in some sense and enter a different comptetition a new day, thanks :)

i guess life moves on with more people

this doesnt really have anything to do with importance its just something i been thinking about recently. i have come to realise that popularity make you a different person, whether it be consciously or not. it happens. people pretend to be someone other than who they are, im not really sure why, i mean the more friends they seem to make changes them, its like now they are a someone they forget the people who knew before and to me this makes no sense at all, i mean why the need to change because you become more popular. when i first met you, i liked the person you were, what yo stood for, the things that keep your interest, but now you couldnt care less about who i was or am. its all about what oters are up to or where they can get you. i mean i could be barking up the wrong tree but somehow i dont think i am. you use to be interested in life and your friends,  now its like you care but only because you have to, conversations are limited and so far in between. not interested, interested enough to make your life seem not so shit. makeing hundreds of friends changed you and im not so sure for the better, you are not the person i knew and on some level i miss that.

have made a new page for visitors to show some love and put a piece of them on the page, its got bits in the background where i might be able to see how many people visit and where abouts they are from, i hope it works. and also added a flag vounter, lets hope the widget works like its supposed to.  as the one i had previously didnt work at all.

Website published "finallly"

yay!!

website is finally up and running, its been a while in the making, i have um'd and ah'd over it for a very long time, but talking to one of my good friends the other night i finally decided i should try and make it a reality. im know really sure what im hoping to bring with this website other than to bring everything i love and love to do into one place, and make something of my own. something that i can hopefully be proud of, a lot of time and effort has gone into this, but i have loved every minute of it because this "creating things" is what i love to do.
